Issues with Switch Setback

First, this is not a bust on Chris or the Netonix switches....

I'm looking for ideas here.... more and more I'm running into situations where the switch does not have enough clearance in the front. This is especially true now that all of the power plugs have been moved to the front. But even when I purchase special 90 degree power cables, sometimes the fiber or Ethernet is a tight fit in the cabinet.

I would love to see some kind of rack ears that set the switch back 2-3 inches to get it away from the front door of the rack.

We could offer rack ears that sit the switch back if desired, what would you like to see, 1" setback?

I can have them drawn up and for sale in 2 to 3 weeks.

You could get about 1/2 inch with existing ears if your care and only use 2 screws on each side.

I think a 2" set back would be optimal, but maybe see what others chime in on here.

Well lets wait a few days and see if anyone chimes in with their input.

Make them with multiple holes so they are adjustable.
