10Gb ports ... again

Sat Feb 04, 2017 4:32 pm

There was a talk last summer that you would be showing a 10Gb offering at Wispapalooza, but that didn't happen.

Will, and if so when, there be a switch with 2-4 (or more) SFP+ ports? I am guessing that the answer is no, but thought I would ask.

Would also LOVE to have a 16-24 SFP+ port switch. Really like the software, and the options for SFP+ switches is really limited.

Haven't seen a 10G switch with that much SFP+ ports, wait a minute, I have searched fs.com's 40G switches have over 20 SFP+ ports. Here is the link for you. http://www.fs.com/c/40-100g-switches-1071

A 9-60vdc switch with 4+ SFP+ and 2+ 48VH Ethernet ports would be amazing for linking MicroPoPs with fiber and keeping my network and power systems consistent across all of my sites. I'd pre-order a dozen if you did a Kickstarter and they were ~$500 :]
