I need to block a device plugged into the network from sending multicast data. Its some 'enterprise' device so I have no way of disabling the multicast on the actual device. Is there a way I can do it via the switch? Like with iptables or something like that?
Thanks!Spencer

Re: Multicast Address Blocking
You can disable Multicast on a per port bases on the Ports Tab?
Beyond that you will have to wait for Eric to respond if the Core is capable of this and if so if he is willing to put it into the UI.
There is no way to do this via Linux as the switch Core is not a software switch but a is a switch core and Linux is only used to drive the UI and such and configure the core.
