The log information is giving me lots of "out of range" notifications. Here are a few of them. Is this a grounding issue? Or something else?

Upgrade firmware to v1.4.4 but if the problems is still there then you need to RMA it, follow the instructions here: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1259

I upgraded to 1.4.4 but I'm still getting the error messages. Looks like I need to RMA it? I've got everything grounded and am using shielded and grounded cables. Not sure what would have caused this. The switch is basically brand new.

It could also matter how whatever kit is being PoE powered is grounded. If there are ground potential differences due to poor bonding, there could be current from ground loops flowing through the switch.

I am powering it with the AirFiber PoE 50-60W. I've got an identical switch powered the same way at another location and it hasn't even hiccuped in 6 months.

I've got two of the barrel connector power supplies en route to me right now. Maybe that will make a difference?

Are your Tower ground rods bonded to the Electrical service ground rods?

How far away from the tower is your electrical service ground rods?

It's on a house. I have it grounded directly to the outside breaker box.

I tried powering it and grounding it to the house next door with an extension cord. Same result. Voltage jumping all around. I powered down all the ports and only the switch was powered up. Same result.

I brought it home and plugged it in. Voltage jumping all around. I reset it back to factory default settings and same result.

Defective unit?

No, we are investigating a software issue.

There is no danger of it messing up and we are looking at this issue in software.

Can you hold on a few days and let us see what we come up with?

Not a problem. I can wait.

I have another 6 port mini that has been chugging along great. It's running 1.3.8. If you can send me that firmware, I'll load it on my new 6 port mini and see if the problem goes away.
