How can I place an order for switches? The website just says out of stock and won't let me order or preorder.

Thanks.

Oh...PB M5-500AC sheilds? Need to order those too...

If you want WS-24-400A just place the order on RF Armor, there are 18 available.

I will be putting up the PowerBeam 500mm AC kits on the web store later tonight or tomorrow morning. We have them in the warehouse now ready to ship! :hurray:

They will be put on the Netonix web site next week but for now RF Armor pre-ordered a bunch of switches to help finance the production so it gets the first ones. Pirate4

I shipped out a lot of switches today and should finish up tomorrow all domestic orders.

I hope you like them.

Those that have them already be sure to load firmware v1.0.1 as it fixes a lot of bugs! Sweeping

^^ This. I need this.

This is the difference in me buying netonix switches, and buying edgeswitches.

Well a few other reasons might be:
Operating temperature range
Ability to power high power links like airFIBER/SAF/Exalt
Easier UI interface for those that do not need all the bells and whistles of an Enterprise switch at a tower.
Current Sensors on passive POE
Quieter for those that have it anywhere near them, granted not usually a problem for a tower site!
FAN RPM monitoring so you know a fan failed before your switch goes *POOF* in the summer
Boot time 17 seconds
Firmware upgrade will not bounce your tower under some circumstances and when it does less than 10 seconds as we do not power cycle POE ports

Granted the edgeMAX switches offers some things we do not such as:
A FULL Enterprise software feature set - although this was not our target.
802.3af/t - but not really needed in a tower site but definitely superior for Office/Enterprise applications.
A 48 port version but not really needed at many towers but very useful for Enterprise applications.
