Modified sine wave and netonix AC switches

Hello,
I am looking to implement a pack and go system for power outages. I was wondering how the netonix switches (WS-12-1250AC) respond to modified sine wave inverters?

I see a lot of people use the tripp lite 750's auto transfer/battery charger/inverter and they are mod sine.

Since I am going to be building this from scratch I want to make sure I get the right stuff.

I believe modified sine wave is fine but I pinged the engineer (Dave) for his opinion.

Did we get an engineering answer on this one? I too was about to buy the tripp-lite asp750 based on this forum. But other forums say they have issues with other equipment and the mod sine wave.

Yes our AC power supplies are fine with pure and modified SINE wave

By the way I use the Tripp Lite 750 and 1200 at my WISP and love them

we probably have 30 or more APS750 running netonix and other devices and they have been fine.
Just be sure to size wire and fuses accordingly.

Hi guys, we are also using APSX750's with WS-12-250-AC units. We struggle to monitor voltage of the batteries as they rapidly fluctuate by 2-4v in the float stage. Have you ever seen the same / how do you monitor whether AC is lost?

With APC UPS modified sinewave in 220V the netonix PSU does a loud electric hum. Happens in various models, including WS-12-AC

It is the only equipment that generate this sound, all other 220v PSU here run smooth with modified sinewave
