RX Jabber Errors

Sat Mar 26, 2016 1:01 pm

Receiving many of these on one of my interfaces connected to a Master AF5X. What do these mean? We have tried different ports on switch and powering with a POE and no change? Thoughts?

Netonix is a WS-24-400A

We have replaced the AF5x and cable and no change.

On Slave side, Netonix is incurring a large number of RX Filtered Errors.

Running 1.3.9 on both switches

There is a search box in the upper right corner of the forums to find answers to questions that have been asked before.

Searching for issues first prevents duplicate questions and keeps the clutter lower so people can find answers easier.

A quick search of the forums with "Rx Filter" yielded these posts
viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1163&p=8698&hilit=RX+Filter#p8698
viewtopic.php?f=6&t=817&p=6115&hilit=RX+Filter#p6115

Also Google Rx Filter which you will find little information on this as manufacturers use it as sort of a garbage error counter.

Then Google Rx Jabber and you will find a little more information that you may find helpful

Support is handled on the Forums not in Emails and PMs.
Before you ask a question use the Search function to see it has been answered before.
To do an Advanced Search click the magnifying glass in the Search Box.
To upload pictures click the Upload attachment link below the BLUE SUBMIT BUTTON.
