SFP Requirements

We just recently purchased a few WS-12-DC PoE switches and were wondering, do the SFP ports work with any brand Copper Ethernet to SFP adapters or does Netonix require specific make/model?
We do not require any specific make/model of SFPs. Most brands that have been tried work.
