WS-8-250-DC -Out of Production?
My vendor tells me he cannot order any more of these models. Is this true? If so which model would should I be going with? I need the 24v dc input option with the ability to send out 24 or 48v. Thank you.

We are not planning on making another batch of the WS-8-250-DC at this time. We may make another production batch but we think we are going to primarily concentrate on the WS-12-250-DC at this time.
The WS-8-250-AC will be replaced by a new model, the WS-10-250-AC which is (8) 1G POE ports and (2) SFP cages.
The reason for going from the WS-8-250-XX to the WS-10-250-XX is that it offers SFP cages and it will support 24VH whereas the WS-8-250-XX could not deliver 24VH.
We do have a NEW smaller 6 port Smart DC (9-60V input) switch coming out soon which will be announced by the end of the year.

Ok, well I can use the 12 port version. Do you have them in stock? We are planning on ordering 8 right now.

Re: WS-8-250-DC -Out of Production?
Hi, I'm curious if there is any plan of having a smaller (8 port - 150A for example) that can do 24VH?
I understand the ONLY solution right now with variable DC input is the WS-12-250-DC, but that is overkill for most of our needs.

What radio or device do you need 24VH for?

Perhaps you missed the WS8-150-DC on the lineup?

Chris, AFAIK IgniteNet makes kit that uses 24VH.
EDIT: DOH! I saw 24VH on the matrix but missed that it is NA.

Yes, Ignite radios will use 24VH but have also been tested to work fine with our 24V as we deliver .75A
I have several of their radios running on 24V

Been a while, forgot about this thread, but will post anyway. Most people know already, but 24VH isn't really necessary anymore as the Ubiquiti AF-_x radios support 24V, 24VH, 48V and 48VH.
