I personally have never found an SFP module that did not work in our switches? I have found some DOM modules that cause problems with the I2C bus but they worked other than they interfered with telemetry readings on the switch. A bad SFP module can cause this as well as I have had modules go bad that did this but when I replaced with same model all was well again.

I have even had customers send me SFP modules they claimed would not work and I had no problems with them and used Team view to show them they are working and when I sent then back suddenly they would work for them?

I would like to send you a pair of the fiberstore sfp's. I will do that on Monday. They do not work in the Netonix switches. Auto or 1g on each end re seat them fc on or off nothing works.

FS.com has some of the best prices in the world so I think that is why this has came up a couple times now. fwiw when you hover your mouse over the sfp christmas tree it does show the name of the module. Just doesnt pass data no matter what I do.

Send 2 modules and if fiber a jumper

Send to

Netonix
Att: Chris
154 Earland Drive
Building 5C
New Holland, PA 17557

Will return afterwards but no guarantees that we can get all SFP modules to work.

Unfortunately they don't work for me

WS-12-250-AC
Software 1.3.9

Well that's confusing as they work for Adair?

Did you try both Auto and 1G on the Ports tab?

Did you also try changing the settings on the other device to both 1G and Auto (trying different combinations)

Chris, did you ever receive the Fiberstore SFPs? If not, I can send some out. We are having the same issue.

The Mikrotik can see the Netonix in the neighbor list and shows a link light. If we make some changes on the Netonix,
we can get a packet or two through but then nothing and the interface does not show as active on the web page.

Did you send me SFP modules? What was the tracking number and I will investigate on my end

Someone else had promised to send them but nothing was updated. If they haven't sent them, we will.

Any word on the Fiber Store SFP's? We use SFP-GE-BX with are BiDi 1310/1550, they work in our other gear (UBNT, MT, Brocade) but not our Netonix. The switch sees them but can't get a link. Tried both auto and 1g but haven't gotten anywhere. Oddly I tried one of our older MaxxWave BiDi's that I had (only have a 1310tx side) the switch with the MaxxWave shows a link and on the with the Fiber Store does not. Not sure what to make of that. Both are WS-12-250-AC that I upgraded to 1.3.9
Would love to get these working as this is our standard SFP now.

Can you be more specific? I couldn't find SFP-GE-BX when I searched on fs.com. Or rather, I found 226 things. I don't want to order the wrong ones.
