Les is correct..more than likely that size of a battery is limiting the Netonix internal power supply from coming up to voltage quick enough, and it will then shut down, because it believes there is something wrong with the source voltage supply..these are safe guards that are designed into the switch.
As a test, you could hook up two of your battery's in parallel.
WS-12-250-DC 9-60 V PWR does not turn
Re: WS-12-250-DC 9-60 V PWR does not turn
Hello I just do all the tests that nothing indicated to me the unit will not start.
I tried the vehicle battery and nothing is seen only light two of the power source lightbulbs one is fixed the other flashes then turns off.
As Chris authorize me uncap the unit and everything is in order, the protection diode is intact
The only option is to send the RMA unit

the one should stay fixed on..the other should flash a few times, then go off for about 5-10 seconds, and then the unit should power up & you should see/hear the fan run.
are you leaving the power connected for at least 10 seconds?

If I left food for 3 minutes after the bulb stops flashing
The unit does not start
it appears that I will have to send RMA to the experts verify there is indeed something very strange happens
