Mini inrush
Searched forum but didnt' see the answer. Chris, what is the inrush current on the mini at startup?

if it is not powering anything, just the switch itself not very much.
I do not think we tested that but it can not be 20W but I guess it would depend on the accuracy of your measuring device and how small of time increment.

it is kept low because the power circuit has a soft start function, but I will have to measure one to give you an actual number, will try & do tomorrow...

inrush is from 0 to about 0.8 amps, linear ramp for about 15mSec in duration.

Thx. Take it that is with no poe loads. Any idea what it would be with 5 ports 24v poe on? Or does it also depend on what is plugged into the ports at startup?

Depends on what devices it is powering and what their inrush draw is however the switch will not power up the POE until it is booted then staggers the port POE turn ups so it is not like all of them are at one shot.
