Port Disabled

Hey Guys,

I've got a port that keeps getting disabled. The POE stays on so I'm assuming its not a POE issue.

Any thoughts?

Never heard of such a thing?

I would check the system/switch logs.

I would run cable diagnostics to see if the cable has errors.

Could be a bad cable or end.

Sounds an awful lot like loop protection, which is enabled by default.

This is TRUE, good call! :agree:

I change my opinion to match yours, glad "I" thought of it! :rofl4:

But in my defense if had checked the system switch logs it would have reported Loop Protection disabled it! :tounge:

How is the email alerting coming along? Ja, I know I could just make a loop and see what happens but too lazy. I could also search for your roadmap and see where it is on the list.
