Stacking

Mon May 15, 2017 1:39 pm

I see there are vent holes on the top of the WS 12 250 AC switches. Is it ok to stack these on top of each other in a rack?

If not perhaps ears that would allow the switches to be staggered right/left could be made?

Speaking of rack ear I have the deep rack ears here ready to sale I just need to put on site, maybe later today or tomorrow.

RMK-250-D
RMK-400-D
RMK-26-D

They set the front of the switch back 1.5" from the front rails

You can mount them on top of each other in racks, I would prefer you leave 1 hole open between them if you have the room.

The holes on the top are there more for the event that the fan fails and the user does not fix it.
