YES it can power a WS-6-MINI quite well actually.

The 4 extra volts can also work in your favor for long cable runs. I have been considering getting one of them but heard a rumor that Chris was coming out with a similar unit so have been holding out to test his.
I prefer to power the MINIs from another Netonix VH port simply cuz I can power them off remotely. I've been tempted to pester Dave to design a 54V PoE brick that takes PoE in to slave the PoE out. That way I could provide low current PoE from the upstream switch to control the PoE brick. My guess however is that Chris is just going to go with a white label mass produced brick from China and put the Netonix name on it, not design it in house.
