Hi all,
I've had great success with Netonix products when powering radios for remote telemetry solutions.
Now I'd like to start powering PoE and PoE+ compliant CCTV componentry using this hardware. I'd generally prefer to stick to a DC powered solutions.
I find it difficult to confirm whether Netonix specifically supports these standards.
Can anybody advise which products will support PoE and/or PoE+

Netonix is strictly a "passive" POE switch which means you have to manually turn the POE on in the UI and CLI but once you turn it on it can power "active" POE and PoE+ devices.
PoE is the 802.3af standard, and PoE+ is the 802.3at standard which are "active" POE standards meaning they identify the device and then turn the POE on for you but you are limited to 25.5 watts which is not going to power a lot of high end WISP equipment whereas we have up to 1.5A @ 48V to power things like AirFIBER radios and such.
The main difference between the 802.3af (PoE) and 802.3at (PoE+) standards is the maximum amount of power they provide over the Cat5 cabling.
The maximum amount of power for the 802.3af (PoE) standard is 15.4 watts.
The maximum for the 802.3at (PoE+) standard is 25.5 watts.
We provide you with the polarity PIN out in our PDF so just read the PDF. Currently the information is on page 15 but that will change soon when we add the new models

Understand that 48V powers on 2 pair and 48VH powers on 4 pair which you better make sure your equipment wants power on 4 pair before you use that or you will make white smoke and that would not be covered under warranty.

Well you should consult the CCTV devices and see if they want power on all 4 pair, they may or may not.
Do some homework/research before you make any decision on POE options, at this point your only guessing.
