Config Backup from WS-12-250B to WS-12-250AC

Hi,

My question is about backing up and restoring a config to a different version of netonix 12 port, Will it cause any problems to do this? Or should I just configure it from scratch?

If you have both firmware versions upgraded to a relatively new version (preferably the same versions) it should be OK to do that.

It is supposed to do that anyway, let us know if it does not.

When I copy a config file from a WS-6-MINI to a WS-8-250-DC, it works pretty well except that ports 7 and 8 are not configured as U (Untagged) on the VLAN tab; I guess because those ports don't exist on the MINI. I think they're set to E (Excluded).

This caused some head-scratching after deployment when everything worked fine except one customer couldn't get online, i.e. the guy who was connected to port 7! (We weren't using port 8.)
