Billboards? anyone leasing them for APs?

I've been curious about leasing (or attempting to) billboards for APs. There are dozens of them that I've identified as perfect for my micro-pop expansions. They are all owned by LAMAR. Anyone else do this and have any kind of pricing or advice?
Thanks

You can explore it but I would suspect that being a nation wide company they too have been poisoned with cell phone money and would require high monthly payments IF they are even interested.

yeah, that's why I haven't called them up. Hoping someone else had success.

Our local Lamar guy is easy going. Not saying everyone is but I hope they are.
I was thinking the same thing recently.

The use of their signs might also be impacted depending if they have the option of "sub leasing" in their contract with the land owner their sign is on?
If they can't sub-lease in the contract, they can't provide you space. Since this wasn't looked at when they may have signed the original lease, they may have to wait till a new lease, or have a lease re-negotiated?
I would ask them that question! If they give you a lease to use their sign, and then the land owner comes back on them for sub-leasing, you are suddenly in a world of hurt !
