charge controllers for 24v powered site w/ solar backup?

Guys, I have a site w/ 24v feed 550ft (pushing 27.75v in, adjustable 4A supply) and I need to add a few batteries now, and a solar panel next spring. I've been using a combo of home-brew stuff and tycon controllers and I'm looking for something a little more turn-key.

I'll pull 40W at this site peak.

The Tycon TP-SCPOE-1224 has been a good unit, but the 24v 1.25A output is under my needs. I've been using these for higher draw sites but pulling directly off the batteries with a low-volt cut-off to save the batteries. Larger Tycon units want 32V+ input and I want to stay 24v power.

I'd much rather have a controller with dual input that would handle 20-26v DC input, separate <=36v solar input, and output 24v >=2A

Any advice?

I use only Morningstar Controllers, gave up on all lower cost units.
Morningstar TS 45 TriStar-45 amp 12/24/48 volt Solar Charge Controller
spending a little more up front saves you from 3 am runs to site, also makes batteries last 6 years instead of 2.

I'm going to order the MS TX-45 on your recommendation. What accessories do I need to go with it?
