We have unusual issue with multiple switches. Random ports stop transmiting on RX. This started just recently and hapening on random switches AC/DC different firmware, older switches as well brand new units.
So far we replaced switches and consider it as dead but we starting to see brand new ones.

Re: Switch failure
STP enabled ?
STP have long been problematic for some but nobody never found the root of the issue. STP can be easily disturbed or hacked if facing customers so disable every STP port facing customers and, if not needed, disable it globally on the switch.

Re: Switch failure
We lost in last 30 says 10% of switches now. They are going down randomly and are not recoverable. We desperately need help with this.
