Odd power reading on WS-12-250A

Wed Mar 11, 2015 6:20 pm

Chris,
This is that 'strange' 12 port that was causing a bunch of grief, now on 1.1.0 here in the office that I use for testing radios, etc. Just today I was powering on a port for a Powerbeam 620AC and noticed port 5 was showing 16W draw, with nothing plugged into it. Rebooted the switch and still shows 16W. It powers a radio fine, but it's just pegged at 16W as long as the port has power. Going to power it off here in a second after I'm done flashing some radios and see if that fixes it.

Nope, power cycled, still shows port 5 as drawing 16 watts and nothing is plugged in.

Hi Tony,

Well you get RMA #6 so please send the switch back, this one was always a little flaky from the get go if I remember correctly?

I will PM you the RMA info for a replacement.
