Login v1.1.0rc11 after update

Fri Jan 23, 2015 11:27 am

Just quick feedback. We had the issue of not being able to log into the UI after upgrade. Setting password via SSH per your instructions worked fine.

After gaining access to the UI and setting our new desired password, we could still SSH into the unit with the old password. But then after going to the UI device tab and setting credentials, the old password no longer works via SSH (good thing). Maybe I had a brain fart, but I don't think so. May want to check this out.

Yea, we know there is a bug there from the upgrade process.

It does not affect everyone but it needs fixed, we will release a fix later today.

Other than that is everything OK with the new version and features?

CRICKETS

Fri Jan 23, 2015 4:38 pm

WOW for weeks all I hear is we need port isolation, or we need to renumber/rename VLANs, or a handful of other features.

So we FINALLY release a version that does all these things and more now the forum falls completely silent! - WEIRD!!!

I guess silence means no one want to kill me or something?

That or it's Friday, sit-on-your-hands day. I don't know many that would run with an RC on a Friday.

Well I just put up v1.1.0rc12 that fixed the failed login issue.

Personally I think v1.1.0rc11 and v1.1.0rc12 are the BEST firmware to date. - I love it!

Plus I would think that as many people that are asking me for an early version of the WS-8-250-AC, or those asking to reserve some of the first small batch that they would jump all over this opportunity to win a FREE one! See this post
