I received a new switch (WS-12-250B) and updated it to the latest firmware released yesterday. The firmware before was directly out of the box, and the new firmware was the one released 1/9/14.
After the upgrade dialog, the page reloaded and was stuck on this screen.

I didn't want to brick anything so I let it sit there for a few minutes to make sure everything was ok, but a simple page refresh fixed the issue.
Everything is else fine, the updated performed well.
This was on a Windows 7 x64 using Chrome.

Re: Login loop after firmware update
Yea sometimes the browser needs refreshed after an upgrade or even "rarely" with a reboot, it all depends how much changed in the firmware upgrade.
You see the UI is copied down to your local browser and if the firmware upgrade fails to properly get your browser to REFRESH the local "changed" code this can happen.
