That's awesome man! We just had one of those battery backups go south on us Monday. Last one on our network, and of course it goes down Monday just before 8.

I'm not a fan of APC ups'. We've had good luck with Cyber Power and I really need to swap this one out for a larger one anyway.

We started loading up on 8D AGM's for large sites, and smaller AGMs for compact sites. Here we run a 3KW/h inverter and 4 8D's, lol. Never can have too much power huh?

I hear that. this site needs more run time. If only I had a DC switch....... hmm..

I could run the entire site (router included) from the switch and just drop some batteries on the floor.

I'm telling you, I need some 24 port DC units, like... NOW. Obviously 8 and 12's, but I'd love to run my core switches here on DC. Chris... Hook up?

Do you have conditioned 48V DC there?

If you do just remove the power supply and feed the switch 48V because you do not need a DC to DC power supply.
